Yes if you make it too small it crashes. I've also noticed a few hangups tonight, not sure yet what's causing that.
I am unable to replicate the resize issue. I've tried all kinds of different ways of moving the window size around, maximizing, minimizing, restoring, increasing the from the top, decreasing from the bottom, increasing via horizontal and vertical, decreasing via horizontal, increasing again by vertical, decreasing again by horizontal and vertical.

Unable to replicate. Windows XP Professional SP3, 32-bit, DSP version.

Suggested troubleshooting:

- Determine if it is isolated to the Stand Alone version.
- If not, check into whether it is something related to either 32-bit vs. 64-bit, XP Home or Media Center Edition, versions N, K, KN, all having to do with lawsuits, or Starter edition (low-end version aimed at developing countries, including the South American market, where several participants here live).
- If not, look into video drivers.

The "Close to tray" separate issue I reported is still there however.

Other commentary:

- Still strongly suggest a label for the non-descript right arrow beside the bypass button, which is the toggle for the lower display. There seems to be enough room. Suggestion for label text would be "Detailed" when on "Simple" and "Simple" when on "Detailed", or something to that effect.

I have the same issue with the DSP plugin (crashes/hangups) in XP - I'll attach a debugger tomorrow and start playing with it, will probably find what it is quickly. I haven't seen a hangup when clicking on the X yet, with a bit of luck it's caused by the same issue.

Arrow is still in the list of things to be fixed. It also needs to move to the lower part of the screen. I have placed it where it is to be able to switch in the first place, but this is not where it will stay.

I'm moving the list of things to be fixed to this post so we don't have to look back 5 pages all the time:

To be done:
- Add '-6' '-12' etc. beside output bars where possible.
- Oversample wave displays (4x)
- About, register, help (context sensitive, help button should be next to the preset buttons) What would be a logical place to put the registration stuff? I would think at the top of the Configuration menu...
- Make new minimized icon
- Up/down lock in MB does not work
- Bypass button layout
- It would be nice to be able to return to the place where you were in the left menu in an easier way. But how???
- Display last loaded preset name, if possible also with whether it has been changed and keeping it on restart (although I've spoken to people who use hardware devices which have exactly the same behavior as the old ST had, dropping the name on a restart).

Less urgent for usability:
- Design (several people are working on something)

Bojcha, what was your idea for the sound card settings?

Done:
- Switching between screens: Button at wrong position. (Somewhat ugly jump in screen position, won't fix that for now - maybe (much) later.
- Try to make alternative view also visible, very small, together with in/output levels
- Clipping display (red)
- Optimize MPX drawing (first check if it's really the problem by disabling it in software).
- Different font

- Horizontal line in waveform display
- Waveform display color is slightly too dark - why?
- Red part of waveform: Fix at higher input samplerates

Kinda done:
- Change checkbox design http://i.imgur.com/TBr3S.png http://i.imgur.com/YseoV.png http://i.imgur.com/zi49d.png (more changes needed; whole layout needs an update)

Hans ,
I`ve noticed that AGC indicators have more dynamic range , because it moves less ( with my settings ) . Is this right ?

P.S: RDS issue with text smashing( become bla bla bla chinese text ) is Fixed !
Thing that text is now ... little foggy ?!!?

P.S 2:
When minimize the GUI IN/OUT indicators not working .
When in full screen they are OK

Is there any chance when enable Normal Output , not to affect the FM output ( something like restarting the interface ) ?

Hi,

Maybe it's a good idea to leave the lower display intact when minimizing, minimizing in two stages I mean...
And restaurating the whole display again by clicking on the different items..

They are now displayed in dB instead of absolute values. Which means that near the top you'll see less movement than before, but more near the bottom.

See this entry in todo list: - Make new minimized icon

I don't understand what you mean... Restarting the interface to not affect FM??

No, About the IN/OUT indicators , they are not working in the GUI, not the icon at the taskbar .I Attach picture to see.

For the affection . I mean when we have FM output enable and program code stereo and RDS , when i enable the normal output which is not enabled to this moment FM output is stopping for a moment and then again starting . When disable the normal output then stopping is for a long moment than when i enable it.
A kind of gap when enable/disable outputs.

Ah, the actual problem here is that you shouldn't be able to make the window THIS small...

Technically, the I/O stuff does still work at the smaller size. You see flickering going on.

As for the window size itself, it is the exact same minimum size as 6.32, and just installing over top of 6.32 with the window size set for that leaves the size alone.

In my opinion, most of the buttons and labels in the configuration area are too large, thus making that bottom "frame" to be too small vertically. I don't know if that can be corrected with a skin or if that is in a fixed position.

It is currently fixed, but with a different skin it may be possible to make them smaller. For example, Bojcha's idea for checkboxes (see links in the todo list) would save a lot of space - and switching to a different (smaller) font would help as well (also on the todo list).

Checkboxes in that links are just like in the Breakway Broadcast .
I ask again : Why ST to be or to look like BBP ? Why?
It`s different Software.
Bojcha give another idea which is implemented in the BBP already . This buttons are just from there .
