Stereo Tool

I would really like more bands (maybe 12-16) in the multiband compressor/limiter.
It would also be cool to have an expander and/or a multiband expander.

But don't get me wrong, I love stereo tool!!

Actually almost everone else asks for _less_ bands!

About the expander: There was one in some of the BETA versions for 6.20, but I wasn't happy with it yet (for some songs the result sounded really great, but it had artifacts and an insanely high CPU load). But I will make one soon, based on what I've learned since I made that expander I think I can now make a much better one.

Hmmm....maybe you could create an option where the user can choose how many bands are used?
That seems like the best of both worlds

Yes, an option to select how many bands would be useful. Curious to see results with 4/5/6 bands only.

Will be part of a big Multiband redesign that I've been talking about for more than 6 months now... But still haven't had time to start with it.
