By the way the stereo 38 kHz bass signal you posted earlier is fixed now.

@baires: So is a new Multiband.
@camclone: The filter you are talking about is causing quite horrible artifacts if you set it too strong. I'm planning to redesign it asap - I think I know how to fix it.


@Bojcha: nothing interesting here but the spikes in the stereo signal for mono input are gone now (Loudness etc):

It is, but it should not have this much effect. (at quality 0 I perform 6 clipping steps. At +4 that's 8. Not a big difference.)

Strange, I tested it here again and here it's completely gone. Since you're probably using the stand alone version, could it be that there's a difference between the left and right input? You are testing using a perfectly mono signal, right?

There was a difference in the window shape between the left and right channel, I've made both identical now.

Since 10 Hz is very very low, I can probably create a different type of filter to remove it (because you cannot hear such low frequencies anyway it should not matter that much what I do).
Tested with Beta114:

77.8 kHz Never phase linear Checkboxes OFF
76.3 kHz Never phase linear Checkboxes ON
74.9 kHz Always phase linear Checkboxes OFF
74.8 kHz Always phase linear Checkboxes ON

I hope you can add that 10 Hz filter and i guess results will be much better then.

Thanks for your measurement! So the phase linear version is perfect?! And, how is the never phase linear version with the 1st checkbox on and the 2nd off? That should be close to always phase linear.

About the small difference for checkboxes on and off for phase linear: Are you using Bass Boost? (My guess: No).

I am using VAC. with standalone. in same time i comapred with BBP (same source, same VAC) And in BBP this not happens.
I can even see it in ST FM Display.

was hard to catch it...
