Ok i just finished reading the rest of the texts and i'm gonna try it now.
B.t.w. isn't it possible to remove non-phase linear HPF then if phase linear is better?
Or is phase linear still causing too much artifacts on lower latency settings?

EDIT: The check-box definitely helps to remove DC offset. I'll see if i can measure the differences again.
The phase linear one has less artifacts, and is always equally steep (and that's steeper than the phase linear one). The phase linear filter causes artifacts, and is less steep, and both the artifacts and the lack of steepness double for each latency reduction step.

Doggy my man, problem is solved.
HPF does NOT remove weird effect! Compare beta 109 and 110 with that preset and you'll hear it! btw. It's not fixed when 'Play Bass Only' is ON! That's why i use HPF to hear it is it there or not.

Only one thing in the preset : use more low bass to hear more clearly the effect when only "play only bass" that is not fixed
say 60 Hz then non-boost to 160 Hz
not 130 to 230 .. it`s high already and effect is suppressed

No , just say that not HPF but LPF removes the effect because this effect appears in the higher frequencies about 300 - 500 Hz
when set to 200-230 Hz .. and this is removed ... ok removed almost gone .
But this is not right -something to be before and after to be filtered . Right thing is to be fixed at the point of causing :)
I`m not saying anything bad .... just there is something with the samples or sample rate wrong because when check the "play only bass" the spectrum becomes spread ( like noise or bath effect ) and this sh*t is there :)
But don`t worry Hans will find where is it

Again, it's not fixed when that is enabled !

I will give you another test for beta 109 and 110. Play from winamp ST DSP what you play, and set only bandpass 0.-200.
Play that to ST Standalone. turn on Bass boost only. Like this you are sure that bandpass is before bass boost so nothing up is not removed. and do not use 'Play only bass'. You'll hear difference between beta109 and 110.

Is it maybe possible to place an extra HPF just before loudness to get even better DC offset protection?
EDIT: Or move that Post filter to that place maybe?

Hi guys,

I have not any time in this moment but i test quickly to correct tilt, and mesure with pira75.

it is the bass frequency that generated the peak over 75khz, i calibrated fm transmitter quickly and it's ok now !

Thanks a lot, good job Hanz, ST is very good product! A new french radio use ST at the end of october !

Sounds like a good idea, testing now.

I now found a good way to test differences in HPF between the versions. I'll post a screenshot in a few minutes.
