For the Sound Processing Freak Day (
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3055 ) I'm looking for a 192 kHz capable sound card that I can put in/connect to a laptop. (I still need to buy the laptop, so if there are any which already have this please let me know). I also need ASIO (to demonstrate very low latency!)
Anyway, it must be good enough to demonstrate things, including RDS and stereo encoding and if possible also Stokkemask compliance, on this Freak Day (which is sunday already... Yes I know I should have asked a lot sooner).
Anyway, if this isn't possible I'll have to carry my PC there, which is - at the very least - a bit difficult. So I would prefer a laptop solution.
Searching the forum I found:

I tested a 24 bit integrated sound card in a laptop well with Stereo Tool and its found even in lower end computers. The card is called Conextant High Definition Smart Audio and supports playback of up to 24 bit 192 KHz. It works on both FM stereo and RDS which I must admit is quite handy in terms of a cost savings on getting a part 15 FM transmitter with a built in stereo generator.
On another site I found these 2 that work - although no word on how good they work:
- EMU 0202 USB
- E-MU 0404 USB
