I don't know... I suppose it runs VST plugins? But I couldn't even find which OS it runs on...

"New, two channel "DUO HOST" VST plug-in host environment running on Linux."

Hm, that's weird. VST's aren't supported officially on Linux due to licensing issues - Steinberg created it and they only support Mac and Windows. If you want to support Linux you need a modified SDK which would be illegal to share with others.....

Hope it's not illegal. It does appear to be a really neat piece of hardware that doubles as a music synthesizer and effects processor depending on what plugins you feed it. If it's legit, may be a good way to carry Stereo Tool around and use it with any device without setting up a full blown computer.

But isn't there the free alternative of Steinberg VST (LinuxVST?) which is compatible with the original VST's?
