I recently dialled into a radio station that had RT+ capability which actually separates the RT message into 2 or more pieces for example artist, name, album etc.. and I was wondering if something like this is possible with stereo tool. I am using the regular RT to display now playing but I want to take advantage of this setting also. Ps: some great explanation by Pira here: https://pira.cz/rds/show.asp?art=rds_encoder_support EDIT: i've found that rt+ is intergrated into ST and here are the instructions: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=5910&p=29085#p29085 However i've run into a different problem now, i am reading a string from a txt file which looks like this: Madonna - Like a Prayer. How am i supposed to break the string into 2 pieces by every "-" and transmit it with RT+? I currently use the regular RT (Example): POWER-FM/PLAYING/\R"C:\NowPlaying.txt" EDIT 2: I have successfully done what i wanted but i tool a different path, i used UECP with my automation software. However if anyone knows how to split the string from the txt file it would help more people. I believe i could build a simple python script that splits the txt into 2 files one for artist one for title, but this is a dumb idea, managed from ST would be the best. |
