Hi, I hope you can help me out, Setup: Music PC-Mixer-PC Stereotool with the M audio Delta soundcard (192Khz) (PC I5 280Mzh 8gb memory)-transmitter. When I am live on FM I have a little delay, normaly that is not a big problem only when I talk I hear myself later on. Now I plug my headphone in to the mixer but then I don't have any processing I don't know how it sounds when I talk live. Gladly hear from you what to do. Kind Regards Willem |

Hello Willem, Digital audio processing always adds SOME delay. In Stereo Tool, with the highest latency settings (which sound the best), that delay is about 100 ms, which is far too much to listen to yourself through. So, to solve that we have added a monitoring output, "Low Latency Monitoring", which has a (selectable) processing delay of 2.9 of 5.8 ms. It doesn't sound very good, but it's good enough for monitoring. Now, to use this at a usable (low) latency, you do need to use ASIO, and the input and low latency output both need to be on the ASIO sound card. After selecting ASIO you can play with the buffer size and ASIO block size settings to find how low you can get it (on an ideal system, you can get down to about 4.6 ms, if you select the 2.9 ms latency processing). It looks like you're using a USB sound card, that by itself will already add a few milliseconds because USB has a big latency. |

Hello Hans, Thank you very much for your reply. I will take a look at the low latency monitoring, the sound card b.t.w. is the pci version. Thanks again! Kind regards Willem |
