Hi,
I have a Marian Trace Alpha with both analog and SPDIF inputs, and a DEVA DB8008 audio player with an SPDIF output. Is there a way to connect the player to the soundcard using SPDIF connectors and at the same time generate the composite signal? The problem I see is that I need to set StereoTool sample rate at 48KHz to get the signal from the Deva and at 192KHz to be able to create a full composite signal. Any tips? Do I have to use an analog connexion between the two units?
Thanks for your help!

There are a few options:
1. Don't use ASIO. Wasapi or KS work fine too (although with a bit more latency)
2. Use a sound card with built-in input resampler. The professional AES/EBU cards have this. They will resample the digital input in hardware, so ASIO still sees a 192 kHz input signal.

(About 1: If you set the Stereo Tool sample rate to 44.1 or 48 kHz and use anything except ASIO for the MPX output, it will open at 4x the sample rate, so 176.4 for 44.1 and 192 for 48 kHz).
