Hello... Newbie here to soundcards for Stereotool (though I have been using ST since version 2.10 with a hardware FM stereo coder, thank you for creating such a great product! )

Curious if anyone has experience with the Sewell Direct Soundbox Pro External USB Sound Card to drive a transmitter with... or if anyone sees any big reasons to steer clear of this one.

Will be using it on a low-power personal station, so top-notch performance isn't an absolute must, I just need it to work well enough that I can use RDS (not sure if this can be an issue with some cards or not).

Appreciate any info.

TIA

Hi!

Since it supports 192kHz samplerate, it is possible that it is suitable for outputting proper MPX. Because it's quite unknown brand (for me atleast), the only useful thing to do is to test it with FM transmitter or measure the output with something like oscilloscope to see how high (and low) frequencies work (and are there dips or bumps in the spectrum) and possibly find suitable values for tilt correction since its output probably isn't DC coupled.
