Forgive this newbie, I keep losing the thread where the lsit of "ST Forum approved" soundcards are for FM radio use.

Marian Trace Alpha
ESI Juli@

Please continue my list. Both of the cards above, as of this writing, are difficult to get in the US. (Back ordered as of a month ago...)

Most 192 kHz cards should suffice. In fact, even the Realtek on-board cards are fine (but they might have a higher noise level; except for that the signal is perfect though; I've even used it to demo with an FM processor at trade shows.)

There's also this list, but it seems to not have been updated for years:

Yes, Hans. For this newbie I was wanting specific models that FM stations are using now. I had seen the Diffusion list too and wanted an update.

Hi beej6. The best soundcard for MPX is the trace alpha. But a realtek chip should do fine if you don't have a problem with the 1-2% of modulation overshoots that the realtek card have .

Yes thanks. The realtek in my current computer is not good enough. I have thought about searching for one with a "good" realtek chip :-)
