I would like a USB Sound Board to feed my FM Transmitter. Has anybody tried the Steinberg ur 22? Or what other usb soundcard do you recommend? |

Everything with 192kHz support. Asio would be nice. |

Looks ok. If you can disable all effects inside it. I already don't like that headphone output. |

I've purchased one for a web radio project. I don't think I'll be able to test the 192kHz output (I will try if I get a chance!) I could probably access a scope and perhaps an audio analyser (Neutrik NTi A2) if anyone could think of an appropriate test routine to help others (and perhaps myself if I do an FM project in the future)? Unfortunately I'll struggle to get an FM transmitter (mine is in use!) |

I've actually used one of those small $15 battery powered transmitters for use with MP3 players in your car. If it's mono it can be used, but calibration it might be difficult or even impossible.. With a scope, if the peak level is flat +/- 1% from about 5 Hz square wave upto 60 kHz sine wave then everything is fine. |

I would use esi juli or marian trace alpha.Steinberg made a lot of these that were defective and would not replace them POOR customer service. |
