I had an issue with 60hz hum when using my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface, so I picked up a USB Isolator for $30 that isolates both the digital and dc lines from the computer. But I'm having a hard time getting the Focusrite recognized now by Windows software. I reinstalled the driver with no improvement. Windows Device Manager shows the Focusrite as an installed and functioning soundcard. But Windows Sound and all my audio applications do not list the Focusrite as an available interface.

Has anybody else ever used a USB isolator with their audio interface or have any suggestions?

Thanks!
