Post subject:  The appearance of distortions standalone version

Hello.
I have identified a problem on a separate server. Completely chaotic in time during the broadcast, quiet clicks may appear at first, then they increase in volume and turn into distortions.
The system is assembled by core i7 4 cores,
ESI JULI sound card (FM output) and ALC887 (normal output).
this works via ASIO for All. ASIO buffer is 512, CPU is 4096, output audio buffers are 200 ms.
the version of the Stereo tool is 9.4. What can it be?

Forget about asio, pipe it though using breakaway pipeline

and how to configure it correctly for two outputs?
do you have funny pictures?

For two outputs I'm not sure exactly. You would have to run Stereo tool in another instance. I'd suggest going to the news part of forum and checking the latest post 9.70 Beta if there's anything like that.

Don't use asio4all, you don't need to, especially you say you use 200ms buffer. Use Juli@'s Asio for FM, and use MME or even better KS for Realtek output. Be sure to use Sync, see wich one will do better for you, input or normal output, probably normal, and set it to ON, not auto. Track for few minutes how buffer is adjusting, should be always around center.
Juli@ output will always be good with it's asio, so no worries there.

This is caused by Asio4All, it combines both sound cards into what looks like a single sound card, BUT they still all have their own (hardware) clocks which run at different speeds. So there's no way this can work. Aside from that, what Bojcha said.

I don't understand why you don't use the native asio drivers of julia, I still use it after 7 years on the "pc reserve" (for some years I switched to marian on the main pc), both to make Fm and normal output, which I then take directly from the driver o MME O WASAPI from your encoder for streaming.
