| Post subject: | Soundcards of different flavors |
I'm sure there are lots of preferred soundcards but I'm looking at choices for a future transmitter. Streaming for now. I currently have an M-Audio Audiophile 2496 and looking at the following: VX222HR Digigram 192KHz 24bit AES Digital Balanced XLR Broadcast Audio PCI Card Digigram PCX924 v2 AES/EBU & Balanced Audio Broadcast Multichannel Sound Card I found these on eBay and I don't have to worry about compatibility for my standalone Stereo Tool Linux box because Digigram states they are Linux compatible and the Alsa Project has them listed as compatible. Any comments and suggestions are appreciated. |
