I decided to transition applications over to my Mac, at least for now - which means that I lost aacPlus (but aac still requires the same conditioning love!). Nicecast supports VST plugins, but I'm assuming that this plugin doesn't work (at least for me) on the Mac because it's a Win32 DLL.

Are there any Mac plans?

Nicecast lets you use the Apple processing options, but I definitely don't enjoy them, and I've not been too successful at normalizing levels while maintaining dynamic range, either - nor can I manipulate stereo images anyway useful.

Hi SuperH,

Unfortunately Stereo Tool is currently coupled rather tightly to MS Windows... (I know that's a bad thing - I originally created Stereo Tool as a "small project to get some experience using (Visual) C++". I never anticipated it to grow this big...) This means that I would need to do a lot of work to convert everything to a MAC. That's also the reason why there's no Linux support. So I'm not planning to create a MAC version any time soon...

The processing itself should run fine on a MAC, but all the GUI stuff would have to be rewritten. It can be done, but it's not very high (yet) on my list of priorities.

On top of this, I don't have a MAC myself so I cannot test anything (and I would have to buy one just to be able to create a MAC version).
