Is there any way to elegantly output the 'Normal Output' of Stereotool standalone to multiple 'sound card' outputs? We are currently using Leif's AudioResampler in order to repeat from a virtual sound card (VB-Audio virtual cable) to a physical hardware sound-card output. The virtual cable is fed from ST and is used to do audio recording / encoding on the pc. The hardware sound-card supplies audio for other external use. If there's no better way to do this at present, does anyone have an idea how to get the AudioResampler to automatically 'start' when launched? I'm guessing there might be some sort of command line option or ini file addition that might work? Thanks for your assistance! |

In AudioResempler.ini add line started=1 Then just put exe in startup |

Thank you both for your replies which are extremely helpful.  @hvz - That's what I suspected - hope you will consider this as an option if you re-write the sound card handling code. (I know you've mentioned that this was something you might look at?) @Bojcha - The ini line seems to work fine - my web searching couldn't find the answer, thank you for the information! |

The idea for the redesign is that you'll get some sort of Jack-like patch bay, where you can configure which audio you send where. Having multiple destinations for the same audio is definitely a part of that. It might still take some time though before we get to doing this. |
