I've been using Stereo Tool with SAM Broadcaster for a while, with great results.
I'm still using version 6.10.
With most tracks, the sound is very good, but I have some older tracks that must have been mixed in a different way, and the lead vocals sound like they're in the background.
Is there any way to get those tracks to sound normal?
And would a beta version of 6.20 help anything?
I normally don't like using beta software on my stream, but it seems like the 6.20 version has been in testing in a while, and if that would fix the problem, I'd try it.
Any help/ideas are appreciated.
Thanks a lot!

Hi, isaacl

You turned off all processing in SAM Broadcaster?
What preset you use for StereoTool?
Do you use much Stereo Boost, and what settings?
Do you use steeo Image. and what settings?
Can you tell, what track(s) sound like that ?

All of SAM's processing is off.
I have a preset I'm using that I kinda put together, and I don't remember the settings.
I play Jewish music, so you probably don't have the tracks I'm having an issue with, but they're all older, and from a producer who seems to do things somewhat differently - I can try to send one over later.
Is there a way to run a track through Stereo Tool, so I can get a saved version with how it would sound live?
Thanks!

Turn off "stereo image", you don't need that. Then, turn of 'stereo boost" or lower 'maximum stereo amplification' a bit.
Some example track would be good.

I turned Stereo Image off, and set maximum stereo amplification to 1.00 (it was at 2.00).
Would it make more sense to turn stereo boost off completely?
I ran one of the tracks I believe I had issues with, and it sounded better, but I'll have to do some more testing - I can PM you a link to one of the tracks I was having problems with.
Thanks a lot for the help!!
