Have you enabled 'Direct Sound Card Access'? Otherwise it won't work...

thank you for the informative answers
now i`m using linux jack with jamin (compressor) and jmpx (stereo modulator) - better sound, usability and more options (in my opinion)
but i still need rds...

Sorry for not responding any sooner.

If you are running Stereo Tool from within Winamp/SAM/..., I'm guessing that you're playing 44.1 kHz audio? In the stand alone version, did you try 176.4 kHz or 192 kHz? If 176.4 kHz does NOT work in the stand alone version, I know what's happening (*), otherwise I'm a bit lost (the stand alone version and the 'direct sound card access' do exactly the same thing).

(*) This is just a hunch, and I haven't seen it before, but if you play 44.1 kHz audio it gets upsampled to 176.4 instead of 192 kHz. Which works fine in all sound cards I have tested so far. Which sound card are you using?

i see that`s not the same thing...
for first in the plugin i can't bypass any sound chanels (i have 7.1 system)
second i'm not seeing that the plugin uses asio

So in SAM etc. you are playing 192 kHz .WAV files??? Can you check the 'Current output sample rate' in the 'status overview' (left top in the FM Transmitter window) - also check if it reports any errors.

Note: If you REALLY play only 176.4 or 192 kHz audio, you don't even need 'Direct Sound Card Access'.

Ok I should be clearer here: What I meant is that IF you don't use ASIO, the code that controls the sound card is the same.

if i disable 'Direct Sound Card Access' how it will be working stereo encoding??
I have few files 192kHz but if i reencode all files to 192kHz wav it will be few terrabytes! I don't have much place...
Interesting, when i use plugin it allways says 176.4 kHz

I'll try with and without asio to check the difference
