That's what I meant:

1. So you ARE sending 176.4 kHz to the sound card. Could you try in the stand alone version if RDS and stereo function properly at 176.4 instead of 192 kHz? If not, I know what the problem is...

2. Winamp (and all other programs using Winamp DSP's) always uses the same sample rate for input and output. That's why I included this 'Direct Sound Card Access' - I NEED to be able to send (at least) 128 kHz to the sound card, anything below that won't work for stereo and RDS. If your input is already at a sample rate higher than 128 kHz, the output will be too, and Direct Sound Card Access is hence not needed (although you can of course still use it).

Please run it at 176.4 kHz and check if it still works. If not, that's the problem. (And that would mean that I have to make a change in Stereo Tool for it to work on your system). So please let me know if 176.4 in the stand alone version works or not.

Ok, that explains it all. So far all the sound cards I encountered supported BOTH 192 kHz AND 176.4 kHz (it is, after all, a multiple of 44.1 kHz which is used for most of the available audio...).

This means that I'll have to add a setting to convert all audio to 192 kHz if Direct Sound Card Access is used... (Unless you can change your sound card settings to do this? Actually I would expect Windows to handle this if the sound card is unable to).

--> Extra question: Does ASIO @ 176.4 kHz in the stand alone version also not work? (to rule out that something is locking your sound card to 192 kHz while it IS capable of running at 176.4)

asio @ 176.4kHz seems working with other applications, but if i in standalone version change from 192 to 176.4 in output i hear nothing (buffer bar changes to red, restart button not helps), by changing back to 192 it works again
