Yeah the rotation seemed to help with the worst of it, but it's still there. We're on Rode Broadcasters in the main studio I think, and the team likes to cut the lows aggressively to avoid too much bass, which later gets amped in the Orbans we use for FM signals.
I'll definitely take a look on the EQ when I get back to work, as I think we might be cutting even as much as 24dB/oct. Do you think reducing that slope will help?

Rode Broadcaster is good mic. If console is OK just don't use any mix filters and reset EQ on console.
But since you use Orban, it does not matter actually, it's probably non-phase-linear anyways.
