| Post subject: | Software Sta-Level or Optimod-type Emulator Before Stereo Tool? |
I've been experimenting with a couple of the different VST versions of the Sta-Level and Optimod lately ahead of Stereo Tool and am wondering does anybody use one of these in combination with Stereo Tool? With them in full-on mode then Stereo Tool is only being used to auto EQ and limit the way I've been trying to get it to work, but haven't been satisfied with the results...trying to get a really punchy, big AM sound, and while the Dull Moose DENSE AM Europe is not bad at all, I find myself wishing it had a bit more gain and body, but nothing I'm changing in Stereo Tool seems to be scratching the itch. Anybody? |
