Post subject:  Flac files sound better on FM or placebo?

Hello!

I recently upgraded all my music catalogue, and got all the titles at flac quality where before i had 320kbps mp3 files. I read online that FM is able to transmit at about 15Khz so i was wondering how my radio sounds better after this change, even tho on the FM band a flac file cannot show its full potential.

Does stereo tool work better when i give a better source (flac/wav)?

Is this all a placebo effect?

Thank you.

FLAC vs mp3 is not just where mp3 cuts highs, whole audio is compressed. Also 16kHz is kinda default. And yes even on FM difference can be noticed.
In other hand, this days HDDs/SSDs are much bigger and cheaper then 15+ years ago, so just why not flac ;)
