Post subject:  Preset for news presentations
Hi folks,

I'm in search of a preset especially for news presentations - just processing spoken word. It should push up low level sound and not emphazize too much on mid frequencies.

Does anybody have a hint for me or some .sts-preset files I could give a try?

You could start with a normal preset and then disable elements you don't need for voice (like bass and stereo enhancement). It really depends on how much processing you want to do. I've recently done processing for a podcast with our Dutch Chocolate Moose preset, with True Bass / Immersive Bass disabled, different multiband thresholds for low-mids, and a single-band AGC instead of dual-band. This is very much a matter of taste though ;) I've attached it here.

thank you so much! Just tried out your .sts-file and the sound of my voice over is absolutely great! This is exactly what I was seeking for. :-)

Hello! I'm curious if there've been any updates to this preset. Specifically, any that use the multiband AGC.
