what is the always delay setting doing?

That's not a very interesting switch - if you turn some processing on it will cause some delay in the playback. By turning "always delay" on, this delay is also added when the processing is turned off. Intended to make it easier to compare the sound with and without that part of processing, but not very useful.

I was wondering that myself. Thanks for clarifying. And, I think that is a great option to have as well, like you say, for comparision purposes between different presets, or with options on/off.
