Into the idea! I'm ready to show my ignorance on full blast!

https://Discord.gg is a web-based chat room client (even the stand-alone is based on Chromium browser). It's the primary other software than Stereo Tool I interact with all day. I think it would be a good way to interact on the fly. One can also stream Stereo Tool or most other software in Discord audio/video channels for whatever reason; ie show off presets in development or something.

It can be usefull for quick help/support, quick presentation of problems, sharing stuff.. etc, via voice and text rooms. I can help whenever i can. Some stuffs are easier and faster with chat/voice rooms.
All but ignorance :P

Well, a place to go to get help and learn more is always welcome.
Starting a place here and there is no good.
I noticed on Reddit ThimeoStereoTool https://www.reddit.com/r/ThimeoStereoTool/ the last post was 7 months ago.
https://www.facebook.com/pg/soundaudioprocessing/posts/ Thimeo Audio Technology B.V. on facebook just seems to be for announcing shows.
On Youtube https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... %253D%253D there are some good and bad videos posted by ST users.
Which ever direction we go in, it has to be consistent to work. Plus it helps if users are posting on other sites it would be a perk if they shared...
Just finding people to get interested enough to post more than a few post on another site before it becomes a history channel is not cool or productive.

Personally, while this site doesn't offer live chat, audio or video I think it has been the best for information for ST.
Only one suggestion I would have of Hans is to start a new Topic in his "News" forum and maybe call it Audio tutorials, for links to other sites.

Sounds like a good idea. I could have done with a Discord channel to help solve my frustrating problem with segmentation faults! I've been posting a lot here but I don't think the forum is very busy.

After talking this over with my son who is heavy into Discord he convinced me to give it a try. So we have set up a server for Stereo Tool.
I believe it has potential but that depends on participation from users like you.

Advantages:
• Easier to screen share live your Stereo Tool window for troubleshooting or just showing off a setting (In real time!).
• Share audio & video links of hardware and software that are related for our community
• Depending on participation, Discord will alert online users of new posts that could potentially help a user resolve an issue quicker.

At this posting the place is somewhat empty and we encourage you to post positive suggestions to make it better.
Negative posts, hate speech, discrimination, harassment, foul language, spam, etc... will get you banned.

Discord is free to use and can be downloaded here: DISCORD

Access to Stereo Tool - Discord is currently by invitation only and the link is here: Stereo Tool -Discord
If you have any issue in access. please PM me and I will try to get it resolved ASAP.
