I'm running the Linux version of 9.92 so it may be missing some helpful tooltips available in the Mac or Windows version.

There are five ITU 1770 loudness meters on the Processing "home page." Reading top to bottom, what are they? I'm guessing the topmost meter is the Integrated loudness, the one beneath it is pretty active, so it's probably Momentary. Then . . . Short-Term below that? And what about the bottom two?

Thank you!

I can't remember exactly, but the new GUI only shows the 3 important ones: momentary, short term, and integrated; using 2 bars.

I'll see if I can google where it's mentioned in one of the beta threads.

I use the free Orban loudness meter to check the loudness of my station. That has an LRA meter.

https://www.orban.com/freeorbanloudnessmeter

Works great for streaming stations. Not sure about FM. Some calibration might be needed.

Cool. In Linux/JACK I use the ebumeter https://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/tr ... ter.1.html works well, too. For Windows there is also the Klangfreund LUFS meter https://www.klangfreund.com/lufsmeter/ which gives a nice scrolling view of loudness. I was just curious to know what the five undescribed ITU 1770 meters on Stereo tool's processor's "home" screen were meant to be showing. Idle curiosity, for sure.

Ah, Hmm... Trying to think of how they would implement the 4 meters in the 2 bars they use. On the shortterm/momentary bar, there are 2 overlapping meters that. The other bar contains the integrated program loudness with a seemingly very long history (this could be shortened to 5 minutes IMO) that clears when you right-click it. I guess the LRA could be in the integrated bar since it too won't move much...

I personally like the free version of Youlean, but I don't broadcast. The Klangfreund LUFS meter looks pretty good though.

LRA should be a number like on the Orban meter.

Agreed -- alls we needs is a number and a "reset" button.
