Hi,

Can you tell me how to minimize the use of computer resources in StereoTools ?
The software just plugged into the studio takes in resource 425 MB ...

Cordially

Hi. The old GUI, which is in thew process of being depreciated, does indeed take up a bit of resources. However, the new GUI (found in beta here viewtopic.php?f=14&t=33391) improves upon this issue greatly. I have 2 instances of it running right now, totaling less than 200mB.

I guess I'm lucky? I had something like <70MB for one and <130MB for another when I measured before.

Thank you for your answers !
I am using VST2 64 version.
I see no decrease, but in the contrary ...
Normal 430 MB  615 MB in Beta
Just the VST loaded into the encoder(bypass)

I see. I'm using the stand-alone 64-bit in win10 and it's 125 on my main instance. I didn't realize there was quite the disparity in plugin vs stand-alone. I really don't know why my RAM usage isn't as high. Perplexing.

edit: mine's been running overnight, and for a few days before the previous reboot. I just started a new instance and it is much higher (400+). I wonder if Windows 10's application ram management is a reason why my prior instance is using less.

The new version of stereotool vst 10.10 is even worse on this subject and uses 970mb of resources.
Can someone from Timeo answer to this excessive use of machine resources ?

(The resource management tool in thimeo10.10 does nothing to solve the problem)
