Hello!

I've noticed if I use iZotope RX Advanced to separate out stems for Vocals, Percussion, Bass, and Other Instruments, then running DeClip with Natural Dynamics, then recombining the stems back into one file results in better de clipping and overall sound than running de clipper with natural dynamics on the full mix. I was wondering if this concept could be applied to splitting the signal into different frequency bands and then recombining them at the end of the signal chain? Could this possibly give better results for declipping tougher material?

For those interested in trying this, I believe Izotope Advanced RX Music Rebalance tool separates the sources using this algorithm with its own proprietary interface.

https://github.com/deezer/spleeter#readme

So you can give it a try without paying anything.

It appears to be, yes. However, the Spleeter Github readme doesn't mention Moises.AI as one of the projects based on it. So it's likely its own thing.
