Hi, I am using Stereo Tool 9.36 to process audio for my stream. I'm using the built-in streaming engine with OGG Vorbis encoding. In the Streaming Output section, there's the option to fill in a variety of metadata. Is it possible to read the Artist/Title information from a file that's continuously updated with the song info? When I try to fill in the path to the file, it outputs exactly the path instead of the file contents. I would like to configure something (just like RDS). |

You're not the only one who can't get metadata info working on streams. I can set my title/description/genre, etc but can't figure out file name/file path. I put in the path to the updating TXT file under filename but nothing's displayed on my stream for artist/title. Any help from the admins or other knowledgeable folks on getting this working is much appreciated! Thanks in Advance |

I figured it out. You have to turn artist on. Then the whole text file shows up in the stream up to the first 64 characters. |
