This station is rather popular, usually about 400 listeners at a time during the day, so I want it to sound great. This station is using "Analog Pleasure" with a few modifications.

Hi SoftRockDan,
I really like the soft sound.
But the highs often seem a bit smashed or compressed. But this might just be caused by the encoder.
Also: The stream keeps buffering after a few seconds. Is this only on my end?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I feltt that there was an issue with the highs. I'm far from a pro when it comes to audio processing, so I'm glad you confirmed my suspicion.

Though this is a soft rock station, it's not slick, contemporary soft rock. It's more soft classic rock, so I'm looking a sound that isn't "soft" like an easy listening station, but one that is bright and good for rock music.... just not AC/DC or Def Leppard.

I've made a few adjustments. This time based upon GuntherM's "Distressed".

Thoughts?

Ah, highs are much better for my taste :D
Now it pretty much sounds like a commercial station with thick, compressed sound.
I suppose this is what you want for Classic (Soft-) Rock. :)
