Greetings to all. Tell me the optimal latency settings for my processor. I'm concerned about the Bouncing signal delay buffer. How do I configure everything correctly? https://yadi.sk/i/l-pfb-q-TP33Pg https://yadi.sk/i/mOOOtWFpZXRPTg https://yadi.sk/i/eR5iXJ2Fo4irUg https://yadi.sk/i/DiVCA-5ywiZUlA https://yadi.sk/i/jz0zspOoa-xmvA |

You likely want these to be as low as possible while still keeping the green bar somewhere near the middle.

This one should be as low as possible to reduce latency, but not so low that it introduces audio glitches. A sound device with its own ASIO drivers will help you get a lower number with a more consistent buffer than the ASIO4ALL wrapper.

This one should be 4096 for the highest audio quality. This also increases the latency, but the trade off here is perhaps more extreme than with the other buffers.

I switched to ASIO JULI@, but couldn't get the best parameters. Delay time remains in stable condition at the level of 50-60 msec. CPU - 1024, ASIO - 1024, buffer-40 ms |

Nice, you'll definitely get better and more consistent performance using a true ASIO device like Juli@, rather than an ASIO emulation like ASIO4ALL. You might be able to decrease your ASIO Buffer a bit since you're using a true ASIO card. While increasing the "CPU" Buffer since it more directly affects audio quality. Your diversity delay/buffer length duration is probably the last one you wanna set once the other two are set. |

I returned to the settings with ASIO2ALL, since with Juli_Asio I lost the normal output via the built-in Realteck card. But in the course of experiments, I noticed that when loading a preset from Bojcha (...Unreal 3) with the parameters CPU - 4048, ASIO - 1024 (determined by the driver), buffer-50 ms - the scale of the sound card output buffer shows the full scale and everything works perfectly. I choose all the same things on my own preset - and my buffer scale constantly jumps. Such an observation! Checked several times! Well, I'll probably make a preset based on Bojcha. |
