I have a RME Babyface Pro USB sound card and I am not sure that the TILT was set correctly. At first I was guided by the modulation monitor on the FM exciter. At low frequencies, the square wave was slightly louder, I added a +130 correction. However, taking an oscilloscope and measuring the real signal at 0 correction - he gave out straight square wave! I'm not sure now if a correction is needed. Who to believe, oscilloscope or monitor the modulation of FM exciter?

Analog MPX input always need TILT correction, no matter what input (soundcard) you put in.

Hm, I don't think that that's true - not with a good transmitter. I have seen Marians on good transmitters that were perfectly flat without any correction - in fact, any correction made it worse. But, many transmitters do need correction.
