Hi Guys :)

what do you think about this board? ... ker-Board/

seems to be better than pi3: cpu and audio 192kHz

could be cool to use it with ST MPX with RDS on FM transmitter?

Hi. I just tested Running ST on the Asus Tinker Board, in full MPX mode using the on-board HD realtek sound card. I used the Debian (recommended) OS and the latest RPI2-jack version of StereoTool.

The good news:
* It works! MPX stereo-encoded and RDS-enabled output was produced and properly decoded by FM receiver. Thus the need for a separate audio card is eliminated, in theory.

The bad news:
* Although the TB is significantly faster than the RPI3, this does not translate into similar improvement of the number of ST processing functions that can be enabled before ST throttles down. AGC + FM functions + advanced clipping seem to be the maximum combination that can be supported, and that reaches about 65% of CPU capacity even at the lowest quality (20% setting). Hans - would this be because the arm version is optimized for the 32bit RPI processor?
* Running ST with above settings causes significant processor overheat even with the included heatsink. Not sure if the heat is enough to throttle down the TB, but a bigger heatsink or fan might be required.

All in all, looks promising, especially if the overheating can be resolved, and maybe some optimization in the RPI2 version can be made in the future.

Oh, and forgot to mention: the command-line version does not work under Debian in TB. It causes Segmentation Fault.
