Hello,
I just checked out the new version of Stereo Tool, and wanted to integrate it into our automation system. Does anyone have some details on how to send messages to Stereo Tool? I can telnet into the port and connect, although can't seem to get messages to display.

Can someone share some sample message commands (along with the appropriate terminator character, etc..)?

Thanks!
Brian

Hi Brian,

It uses UECP, which is a standardized protocol. Unfortunately you have to pay for the documentation so I cannot just post it here...

PM me for more info.

If anyone want UECP Specs Here they are:

Here is the newest version: http://www.rds.org.uk/2010/pdf/UECP_7_0 ... 4_pw53.pdf (Version 7.05 by RDS Forum)
hint: use password: rdsforum53 to open pdf

Here is older versioin 6.1: http://www.katruud.nl/katruud_site/down ... 060912.pdf (Version 6.1 by RDS Forum)
and Original one: ftp://ftp.rds.org.uk/pub/acrobat/s490e51.pdf (version 5.1 1997)

PS: Why this command doesn't work: PS <02><00><02><52><41><44><49><4F><20><31><20>

PPS: Is there any good free control app that send UECP Commands? (Is it for linux too? (if not for Windows is OK))

Thanks for Anwsering and Best Regards
