Hi all!

I'm using an M-Audio Audiophile 192, with ASIO @ 192 KHz on a Windows 7 64bit.

Well, my problem is, when I restart the computer, StereoTool 6.10 open, but the soundcard start frozen, no input, no output.
So, I deal with sample rate on Input, changing to 128k, 96k... and the soundcard start to work, and then, I can put it on 192k again.

Anyone knows what happening?

Thanks...

1. Check on M-audio's software that your card is running at 192000 hz. No programs using the card must be running, so you can change the samplerate.
2. Run ST and at input card, select M-audio and set samplerate to 192k. The same at output.

I'm writing about 192k because I asume that you want stereo/rds.
Btw, I've not tested it with ASIO. Maybe update the drivers from their website will fix the problem?

What you need is XP32bit! You will always have problems with 64bit OS - Soon or later.

Don't know about W7 32bit, If must be a W7, i would go with "Starter", which is only 32bit but up to 2GB ram, or "home basic" 32bit for up to 4GB ram. Any 32 bit Windows is better choice then any 64bit Windows - as i found.
Mostly because Soundcard drivers, so not only Marian's. Also because W7 has different sound management then XP which i found very anoying sometimes. Also, i found that W764 has actually worse multithreading for CPU cores then XP32..
And one thing that i still need to 100% prove myself, is that ST itself has problems with ASIO+Juli@ on 64bit system (tested XP and W7).

i only uses xp32 bit, some stripped version i done years ago. Installs in 5 minutes and boots fast. And yes, XP32 will work with new i5/7s. Windows XP 32bit i still fully supported by all hardware suppliers. What's mostly important for "new" PC is motherboard drivers.
