| Post subject: | VLC and Stereo Tool RP3 |
Hi, I have installed StereoTool on a RP 3 with a USB sound card for output. My goal is to attach a USB HDD that contains my music to play and use VLC to input to ST. However, I can't figure out what to set VLC to, or ST for input. ST, is using 100% of the processor and if I try to play audio on VLC to another output it of course is choppy. I have tried setting ST to VLC input and tried the various audio card settings in VLC, none mention ST as an option. I get 3 options, Internal, HDMI, or ALCS sound card within VLC. Bottom line, is I can't get any audio into ST. Any thoughts or help appreciated. Thanks, Glenn |

HI Try to create alsa loopback devices and play vlc to the new virtual audio loopback device! In StereoTool input select this loopback device too! |
