Stereo Tool

I have plans to install ST on a Raspberry Pi 4.

I found the file on https://www.thimeo.com/stereo-tool/download/ and I'm planning to install
the 64 bit Stand Alone Jack version.
Is this an image with OS and should I use an Image writer to copy it on the SD-card?

Or should I first install the Raspberry Pi OS and save the file somewhere in the CD-card and execute it?

If you just want a Pi that processes Stereo Tool and no other PC-like functionality, you would perhaps be better off trying the Stereo Tool Rasberry Pi image found here https://www.thimeo.com/how-to-use-the-r ... ard-image/ with more info in this thread viewtopic.php?f=14&t=32883

However, for installing onto an existing distro of Linux, I can't really help you with much detail as I had given up in favor of this standalone image.

Hello everyone, we are planning to use the Raspberry Pi version for signal broadcasting. Please advise on the ideal configuration to ensure the operation of Stereotools on the maximum version with MPX. Is a PI 4 with 2GB of RAM sufficient, or is it better to go with 8GB?

2 GB is more than sufficient (even 1 GB would have been enough). If possible, get one of the new Pi 4's, they run at 1.8 GHz instead of 1.5 GHz and that really makes a difference.

I don't find a model with a frequency of 1.8 on the official website, only a P400 keyboard.
