In trying to upgrade from v9.83 to 9.91 on CentOS 7 running Rivendell and Stereo Tool through Jackd to an ESI soundcard, I get the following error: /usr/bin/stereo_tool_gui_jack_64: error while loading shared libraries: libmvec.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Is there a fix for this? No problems when I go back to 9.83. --Chuck |

that has something to do with libc which should have libmvec included i think. /usr/bin/stereo_tool_gui_jack_64: error while loading shared libraries: libmvec.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Is there a fix for this? No problems when I go back to 9.83. --Chuck it might be that the version of libc for centos 7 doesn't have a libc with libmvec? you might need a newer version of centos for this. |

Thanks! It is going to be a good while before we upgrade, so I guess we're stuck on 9.83 until then. --Chuck |

You might bring it up in a DM with Hans or raise the issue in the beta thread. I'm sure some kind of dependency was updated which inadvertently broke something. At least to find out if it's something to be stuck with.
