Post subject:  StereoTool 9.70 Inconsistent Settings when loading from saved config

Hi Hans and Team,

This weekend I upgraded our Linux nodes with StereoTool 9.70.

All working and definately noticeable improvements to audio especially around IMD and clearer highs. Love it.

I found something interesting, perhaps a bug ?

I have a saved config which I load across our ST nodes to ensure the same processing audio signature.

When I load the saved config, I noticed several nodes don't emit the same sound processing.

A check shows the AGC -> Compressor settings are different between nodes. There are additional options in some but not in others.

The additional options are under Attack: Auto and Shape, then same again under Release: Auto and Release with automatically populated and dynamically changing values.

I can't attach images for some reason.

Just wondering why the additional features and options appear on some but not others ?

Thanks

BeDazzler.

Check to ensure the Operating Mode is set the same between instances, on the main Configuration page. Or make sure to Save/Load All settings (export/import) or All configuration settings to make sure the Operating Mode is the same. You probably want Expert or Extreme Tweaker modes.

Hi MrKlorox,

Thanks for that.

Already in Extreme Tweaker mode, config was saved from the first 9.70 node then loaded onto the others.

Operating Mode, etc, all the same across each.

Even when I reload the config I still see different controls in the AGC on some nodes.

Cheers
