Post subject:  Win10 and stereo tools issue

Hey Guys,
Got a weird one for you which is blowing my mind.
Here's the equipment first:
Win 10 Pro 64bit
Asus B360 MB
Intel I5-9400 2.9GHZ LGA1151 CPU (6 Cores)
Gskill 8G Ram
Samsung 250G SSD
Marion Trace Alpha sound card
Stereo Tools Version 9.52
Marion trace driver version 3.0.8.9

Problem:
Works great after install and reboots.
If you power off the PC then restart it I get sound card timeout errors on Stereo Tools.
One of the errors : Sound card reopened after receiving no response from it for 5 seconds.
I have added delay to the startup time to see if that helps but no cigar, I also made sure that I was using the latest Marion trace drivers as well. Ive even went as far as uninstalling stereo tools and the Marion trace drivers and reinstalled. If I restart the machine it will work properly.
I have also built 5 of these machines to replace old ones and the all behave the same.
I really don't know what could be the problem here.
Thoughts or suggestions please?

Try to change soundcard slot on motherboard and install driver again. Also try older drivers, one by one.

Only one slot.

It might be worthwhile updating the BIOS?
Maybe have a look at the chipset driver and see if it is the latest version?
How about disabling all unnecessary onboard devices (e.g. serial port etc.)?
Check / disable power saving settings?

In the case where you get these errors, are other applications able to play audio to that soundcard? I would assume not.
