hi! first off, sorry for my English.

I'm trying to install the plugin Stereo tools 3 but I can't, I need a digital signature "Symantec Time Stamping Services Signer - G4" but I don't know which is the one I need to.
I went to this web site:

https://knowledge.digicert.com/solution ... ml#method2

I don't which one is the right.

Thank you so much in advantage

Hi,

You should not need any kind of signature to run Stereo Tool. It looks to me as if your anti-virus is being too aggressive. I'm assuming by the way that you mean the VST3-plugin, because Stereo Tool 3 would be very, very old.

Hi! thank you so much for your answer.

I only activate the anti-virus when I surf in the internet. Speaking of vst3. my DAW "ableton 10" doesn't support vst3 I'm installing vst 64 bits.

This is the message while installing:

"A file that is required cannot be installed because the cabinet file <path>. cab has an invalid digital signature. This may indicate that the cabinet file is corrupt." This is typically caused in a disconnected environment where the trusted certificate authorities are not updated automatically."

But now that I pay attention the message it occurs to me that I need to be connected in the internet. right?

Thank you again.

Hi,

Stereo Tool does not have any .cab files itself. Maybe Ableton triggers this message somehow. I would suggest trying to connect to the internet. If that doesn't help contact Ableton support.
