Post subject:  ST doesnt license within Presonus Studio One on Mac
I am on a MacBook Pro running OSX 10.12 (High Sierra). Another glitch I am dealing with:

Bought the license for ST plus Clipper and got it running in Standalone Mode.

Unfortunately the Plugin wont take any input when trying to register the AU (or VST) plugin. Neither typing nor copy/paste wont work for both the Icense number and the name it is icensed to.

Any hint would help, maybe you want me to dig deep into library, I am willing to.

Some VST2 hosts block keyboard and/or clipboard access from plugins. In that case, here's a workaround:
  • Close the VST plugin
  • Open the file vst_stereo_tool.ini or vst_stereo_tool in your home directory (/Users/<your username>/) in a text editor
  • Find a line that starts with Registration key=
  • Paste the full license key, including the characters, after it. Please make sure to not include any extra spaces.
  • Save the file
  • Now open the VST plugin again. It should be licensed now.

Thank you. I found the file, on OSX it is /username/vst_stereo_tool

Maybe you will want to add this info into the license section of the FAQ.
