First post on the ST forum!

Downloaded the SA version yesterday. Also installed aqualang to play the sounds, but can't get an output on the jackoutput of the Raspberry Pi. Did you test this or did you just used the HDMI as in your video?

I tried both, but you need (if I recall correctly) to change the setting on the top bar of the screen (so not in Stereo Tool). Press the speaker (volume) icon. If I recall correctly, you get an option to set the default output there - and that's how you can use the headphone output.

Sorry for this late reply. Till today I didn't had time to look after it.

Now I do have audio playing on the Aqualung and output from stereotool on the 3.5mm jack. The problem is, that the audio has an extremely large delay between the moment that I hit the play button and the moment that I hear the audio playing. Meanwhile I see the meters moving in ST so thats fine.

This is all what I encountered during a quick test. Hope to dig further in in this week. Or do i have to do something with the NEO support where you were talking about?

The delay may be that there is a buffer for the audio.

A Pi2 has NEON support, if you run it on a device without it will just crash. So if it works, it's ok.

I haven't really checked the delay, but the buffer size in Stereo Tool is by default set to 1 second, you probably want to reduce that.

Just got an email from Sparkfun notifying that there is a new version of the pi. It is the raspberry pi 3.

Specs are from https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/ra ... 3-model-b/

The Raspberry Pi 3 is the third generation Raspberry Pi. It replaced the Raspberry Pi 2 Model B in February 2016. Compared to the Raspberry Pi 2 it has:

A 1.2GHz 64-bit quad-core ARMv8 CPU
802.11n Wireless LAN
Bluetooth 4.1
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Like the Pi 2, it also has:

4 USB ports
40 GPIO pins
Full HDMI port
Ethernet port
Combined 3.5mm audio jack and composite video
Camera interface (CSI)
Display interface (DSI)
Micro SD card slot (now push-pull rather than push-push)
VideoCore IV 3D graphics core
The Raspberry Pi 3 has an identical form factor to the previous Pi 2 (and Pi 1 Model B+) and has complete compatibility with Raspberry Pi 1 and 2.

Looks like that since the pi 3 is compatible with the pi 2, Stereo tools should run fine on it and maybe even better given the faster processor.

Yes it runs on it. And indeed faster. I couldn't get my Raspbian Pi 2 image on it, but it runs fine in Ubuntu MATE.

I never followed up with this topic.

Would it work with the pi 4?

Stereo Tool and other products have couple of implementations for Raspberry Pi's. One can run an image or can integrate it into a regular desktop-style installation of an operating system. For the image, read this link https://www.thimeo.com/how-to-use-the-r ... ard-image/, then grab the Pi 3/4 SD Card Updater in this thread viewtopic.php?f=14&t=33391

One can grab the stand-alone app on the downloads section here: https://www.thimeo.com/stereo-tool/download/
