Just curious: Would it be possible to build StereoTool as a consumer audio hardware component, like a normal compressor/limiter/equalizer component, that you could plug into a stereo system? But the processor is 100% StereoTool, that utilizes the hardware of the component purely assembled for the software? The user interface is done by a touchscreen in front of the component, software updates and preset loading/saving is done via WiFi or USB stick.
Practicable or pretty useless, because it is too expensive to build and not practicable compared to the current components that you can buy?
