Hey there. This is my first post for a wishlist, so here goes. Having fiddles with StereoTool for over 1 year now and with many sound processing tools (Sigmatronica Circular Compressor, Sound Solution, etc.) i have found that neither (not even Stereotool) employ a pre-multiband graphic equalizer.
Most of my stereotool presets use the after-multiband equalizer, for stronger dynamics. But, to get "signature sound" (like some hot a/c stations do), a pre-multiband equalizer would be great (to work in the same time with a after-multiband one). The equalizer before the multiband usually yields richer harmonics in a certain area of the spectrum and the multiband compressor takes care that the harmonics only get richer (not louder). Used with a second eq, after the multiband compressor, this kind of setup would produce easier to configure sound tints....
At least, that's what i think. Currently, i'm using Winamp's EQ as a second, before-multiband EQ and results turn out to be
as expected....
Cheers !
