I would like to se the possibility to move the noisegate around, atleast up to the level betweeen MB1 and MB2. Not all of ya guys use this in broadcast, and in a movie-sound-mixing world it would be nice to move it around as needed.

Also, i still miss the abilty to have "audio 2" input to bypass all prosessing, up to the level of final limiting before transmitter/output. (viewtopic.php?f=16&t=33754)

Why any of these? I got numbers of reasons. But I'm not gonna make a much of arguments here...I'm trying not to use my stack of analog boxes some times...

Have fun and then some

Noise Gate is right where it should be.
What you actually need is Downward Expander in MB1. I asked few times for that, but seems no interest from creator for that.

For production and other circumstances with using the plugin in a chain, one can use multiple instances with a module enabled wherever they want. Not the most handy, but still doable.

Interesting. I remember asking if the current noise gate used downward expansion but never followed through with the subject of downward expansion after understanding it didn't. How would this work on the MB1? Would it be in addition to the adaptive behavior or instead of it?

heh well...

I figured that the easiest way to go, apart from redesigning a lot of stuff, would be to be able to move "one more" stuff around :)

I've done some tests when running though a bunch of old interviews from analog media since the 1930s and on...it could be a nice tool in a specific scenario in a movie/documentary production (and to prep stuff in WatchCat). And I bet ehh guess some radio heads might find it useful too...or maybe not.

I do own a stash of old analog stuff that makes the world go around, but I dont want to cascade a buch of digital stuff until i lose the overall sight trying to make some old stuff sound better.

And then some :)

have a nice summer, stay healty and take care, and again thx to Hans for this magic tool...and his "almost on the minute" email support :)
