The new GUI blog post invites to add ideas.

I'd like to have detachable meters, and ideally to be able to place them in a new full screen window that I can put on a seperate screen.

That would allow to hide the user controls and put the meters up for staff to monitor things or put it next to the PC running in a rack, on e.g. a small 7" screen.
Controls could be left on a hidden screen for the experts ;-) to adjust things.

Since the web interface can show the waveforms now, perhaps a simpler meters-only page could be built for easy monitoring on a phone or web browser.

This is a great idea.

I'd love to be able to plug in a small screen to my Raspberry Pi so I can just view the meters, scope, etc. based on this suggestion.

Second that. The HTML view is so nice, a "meters only" view would be great.

That would make it so much easier to display on a small external screen sitting next to the Raspberry Pi :-) Would be a beautiful addition to have!
