when i want to use stereo tool with ffdshow i have to use my 32bit player and codecs, i almost always use my 64bit MPC-HC and 64bit codecs, but, 64bit ffdshow does not recognize stereo tool.

it seems like it wouldn't be as hard as adding a new feature, but i can only guess without looking at the code.
