Ideally all buffers should be filled to 50% - which actually corresponds to the selected buffer size. I'm allocating twice as much to handle differences in speed etc.

Ahhh. Now it makes sense to me.

well my asio buffer for FM output is bearly visible on XP and all working fine. http://i.imgur.com/GVssScL.png
